What is the cost to hire a skip?
The price would depend on the size you require and what type of waste you would like to put in it. Please see Skip Hire or contact us on 01283 561191 for assistance.

How long can I keep the skip for?
Generally, our skips are hired for around 10 days. If you require a bit longer, just let us know when booking. If your skip is full before this, don’t hesitate to contact us on 01283 561191 and we’ll come and collect it for you.

How quickly could I get a skip delivered?
We always do our best to deliver to you the same/ requested day. We deliver Monday-Friday 7am – 5pm & Saturday 7am – 12pm.

Can a skip be placed on the road?
Yes that’s not a problem. We will need to get a permit from your local council to place skips on footpaths, roadways and grass verges. Each council charges different amounts and have different time scales for their administration. This can take upto 5 working days to obtain. We can advise you when booking for this. Alternatively, we can provide a wait and load service which you can fill the skip while we wait.

When can you deliver/collect the skip?
Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm Saturday from 7am to 12pm Other times by arrangement only.

How can we pay?
You can pay by debit/credit card over the phone when ordering your skip or you can pay cash to the driver on delivery.

Will I have to be at the property for delivery or collection of the skip?
If you’ve already paid for your skip then no. If you leave instructions as to where you would like the skip to be placed we will make sure it’s there for you.

What do I do when I’ve filled the skip?
If you give us a call on 01283 561191 to let us know the skip is ready then we will collect it for you and bring it back to our Waste Transfer Station to be sorted and recycled. You can call us at anytime & leave a message on our answering machine if it’s out of hours – it’s not a problem.

Can I mix the waste i.e. garden waste and household?
Yes that’s not a problem. We bring everything back to our Recycling Centre for sorting. We recycle metal, wood, green waste and hardcore. We have very minimal residue that goes to landfill.

Our skip has arrived but I don’t think it’s the right size
Just give us a call on 01283 561191 and let us know. Please leave it empty so we can exchange it for the correct size for you.

Is there anything I can’t put in the skip?
We are unable to dispose of Asbestos, fridges, freezers, TVs, car tyres & toxic liquids in skips. However, if you have any of these please contact us as we maybe able to arrange collection of these for you.

Will the skip damage my driveway?
No it shouldn’t. Our drivers are trained to take every care not to damage driveways in delivery or collection. If you are concerned then we could arrange something to go underneath such as wood or old carpet & we can take this with us on collection.
